These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Vocal Range Test (vocalrangetest.io) (the "Service"), operated by us ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What the Service Does

The Service analyzes audio captured from your device's microphone, entirely within your browser, to estimate your vocal pitch range. It is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only and is not a substitute for professional vocal training, medical advice, or a diagnosis of any kind related to your voice or hearing.

2. Microphone Access

The Service requires access to your device's microphone to function. You may decline or revoke this permission at any time through your browser settings, in which case the pitch-detection features will not work. See our Privacy Policy for details on how microphone audio is processed.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service in any way that violates applicable law; (b) attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying systems; (c) use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service at scale without our prior written permission; or (d) misrepresent your identity when contacting us.

4. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, branding, and underlying code, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain no ownership rights in the Service itself by using it. Results and data generated for your own use (such as your measured range) are yours to save, share, or download.

5. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Pitch detection depends on your microphone, browser, and environment, and results may vary and are not guaranteed to be precise.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

7. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Service, or update these Terms, at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
