This policy explains what data Vocal Range Test (vocalrangetest.io) collects, how it's used, and what choices you have.

Microphone Audio

When you use the pitch-detection feature, your browser requests access to your microphone. Audio is analyzed entirely on your own device, in real time, using your browser's built-in audio processing. We do not record, transmit, upload, or store your raw audio on any server. Once you close or refresh the page, that audio is gone.

Results and Local Storage

Your test results (lowest/highest note, voice type, and the date of each test) are saved using your browser's local storage so we can show you progress over time. This data stays on your own device and is not sent to us. Clearing your browser's site data, or using a different browser or device, will reset this history.

Information You Provide Directly

If you contact us through the Contact page or by email, we receive whatever you include (name, email address, and your message) so we can respond. We don't use this to send marketing unless you separately opt in.

Cookies and Analytics

We may use cookies or similar technologies for basic site analytics (to understand how many people visit and which pages are useful) and to remember your preferences. See ourCookie Policy for details on what's currently in use and how to control it.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your Rights

Because we don't collect or store personal data on our servers by default, there is generally nothing server-side for us to delete on your behalf beyond messages you've sent us directly.
